Following a couple of chilly weeks in LA, I packed a bag of bikinis and sundresses and ventured East for a weather forecast of 90+ degrees. We stayed the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, which lives up to the hype. The pool area and rooms have an unbelievably cool vibe and the poolside menu is appropriate. We also visited an old favorite of mine, The Living Desert, where we took $5 camel rides, and dragged ourselves through sweltering 100+ heat to see some of their incredibly interesting exhibits before heading towards the air conditioned Desert Hills Premium Outlets on our way back to reality.
